Theme-based hike paths such as the Art Trail (Kunstmeile),(Lover´s Lane, fruits path) offer additional interest. The Nordic Walking Panorama Park with three different routes along forest, meadow and field paths will delight the Nordic walker. Climbers will love the Rock Face (Steinwand) offering numerous levels of difficulty, as well as the climbing centre. The Guckaisee is a beautiful natural lake area for bathing and paddling, while the Lüttergrund leisure centre offers a heated open-air pool as well as Kneipp and skater facilities and climbing park TEAM Tower. The location of Poppenhausen at the foot of the 950m Wasserkuppe - known as ‘Aviation Mountain’ - provides an ideal starting place for all air sports fans.

Linger and relax

The Lüttergrund leisure centre includes a Kneipp facility, herb gardens and a beautifully designed duck pond with aviary - a great place to linger, relax and recharge the batteries.
